Nice staff, good location, good price for room
Hotel is located on dirty noise street (arabic part of jerusalem), it's the main minus but for me it's not a big problem

Very nice, friendly and helpful staff! The location in the arabic dustrict makes your stay unforgettable, very interesting and exotic experience. The hotel is very close to old Jerusalem, just 5 min walk. Wi-Fi in the room. Good breakfast.
The hotel and room equipement is just out of time. Everything has to be replaced and fixed and cleaned properly. It is too expensive for what we had in our room.

The hotel was greatly located, and the staff was extremely helpful, friendly. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel, the food was excellent quality, the rooms were simple but clean and we liked the 60ies decoration. Overall I would really recommend the hotel!

Great value: nice-looking, comfortable, cosy, and very clean, with friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location, just outside Damascus Gate, in a lively East Jerusalem street, between a spice store and an excellent library.

Very good location, close to the old city and nearby attractions. Kind staff always ready to help you and make your stay comfortable.
While the vicinity of the old city ensure you a very good and cheap lunch, after 19 every shop is closed and you have to walk 20 minutes to reach the New Jerusalem restaurants and shops.

The staff is always ready to help and the location is excellent: just 50 meters from Old City walls.
Breakfasts are poor and the building is a bit shabby. You should also keep in mind that the hotel is located in muslim quarter and short skirts are not appropriate here.

great location, very close to the old city. good breakfast and friendly staff. free wi-fi in the lobby a definite bonus.
room was tiny, outdated and dingy. bathroom was clean but not super-functional. our room had twin beds, not conducive to sleeping as a couple. beds were uncomfortable.

The staff was always very helpful and accommodating. A gentleman named Khalil Abbasi was super helpful with info for myself & my son and his wife.
The close proximity to the old city entrance gate was only 5-10 minute walk away.

The staff was helpful and the location near the old city was good.
The rooms are very old and you can see that.Only the location can pay back something from the price but I guess for that city is even cheap.Funny that the few free parking places are only for the staff!

10 minutes /non hilly walk to Old Jerusalem. Khalil front desk was very, polite, friendly, caring, a gentelman and helpful, he explain about what to expect in Jerusalem/Israel, about the people, the environment, etc. He also assisted and allow me to use the hotel computer when I needed to cancel Hotel & Tour reservations and contact my daughter in U.S.A. when my cell phone failed on me. Hotel is okay if your on a Budget.
Khalil/front desk was the only one who speaks good English, understood what your talking about. We had to wait untill he comes to work for any assitance. Airconditiong was noisy and it did not work. Balcony /glass door which we had to open to get air in without a screen/ bugs will come in. Carpet was dirty/dusty, they should tile the floors instead. They need to free up space infront of the Hotel so guest are able to unload there luggage or get out safely instead of being rushed. By a string of cars. The community area is full of rubbish on the ground/noisy/loud music/yelling etc. The hotel is located in a Plastine area which was never mention in your site.
